This artistic creation is made from Indiana Limestone, which is the same stone that comprises the exterior of the church.
The Obelisk is located between the old church (the current Parish Offices) and the "new" church. It looks much like an Indian ‘totem pole’, and tells the story of God calling his people to salvation. The twelve scenes are scriptural stories.
God continues to call us, His people, to Salvation. God calls us through the Church. St. Mary’s Church invites you to enter. It is here that you will hear the Word of God and receive the Sacraments of salvation.
