The Bereavement Ministry is here to help people move through the stages of grief. We are here to provide practical, hope-filled pathways to use while going through the stages of grief. Our mission is to communicate that no one has to go through their grief alone. We are here for each other. We meet throughout the year as the needs arise. We focus on topics from the series No One Cries The Wrong Way. All parishioners and non-parishioners to participate in all or any of our events.
Care Notes are available at the Parish Offices. These pamphlets cover an assortment of topics to help you through life's many challenges such as: Walking With God Through Grief and Loss, Finding the Courage to Face a Serious Illness, Making Some Sense Out of Suffering, When Someone You Love is Suffering, The Healing Power of Human Touch, Finding God in Pain or Illness, How Faith Can Help When Bad Things Happen, Prayers That Bring Comfort in Times of Grief, and Why Prayer Is Good Medicine.
Please watch the bulletin and our social media for more details on up and coming events. For more information about the St. Mary's Bereavement Ministry, contact Debbi Shutler.
